Unlucky. Could have won it. Didn't.

Well played all again, the NVA are looking good. If we'd played like this all season we'd be midtable. Shame we didn't really.

Fantasy football

Rich takes top spot with his goal and man of the match for generally making the opposition look foolish, but will his busted knee lose him playing points? Little change elsewhere as it's a point each. Just to liven it up a bit if there is a draw at the top of the table at the end of the season the winner will be worked out on points per match. Ben is currently leading on this.

A good week for our midfield dynamo as Rich also goes top of the Yellow Boot table.

An epic draw

Well played all, organised and unyielding. More of the same please.

Fantasy football. Man of the match went to the whole team, so no change there. defence go top due to the clean sheet bonus.

Victory

Well played all, that wasn't the normal Angel side by any stretch of the imagination. Everyone played well, covered for each other when needed and wanted the ball. There was also plenty of talking and encouragement. Play like that and we've still got a chance of catching them there Black Sox. Fantasy football below and the race for Yellow Boot, I thought I'd include this as we've actually scored some goals now.

Fantasy Football

James stays on the pitch again and with his two assists grabs the top spot. Clean sheet points for the defenders keep us second and third. Dave G draws level with Rich with his goal and Ben's second man of the match and goal fire him up the table as does Al's clean sheet.

Yellow Boot

So that's a goal for all the outfield players except Chris (I don't count as I go in goal sometimes)

Good five minutes, the rest of it not so good

Fantasy football

James get points for not only staying on the pitch but assisting the goal. Rich goes to the top with his wonder strike leaving the top of the table still dominated by the 'veterans'. No movement for the rest of us. Ben now added to the table as he got man of the match.

Lacking

Still lacking that final finish and some midfield energy. Hence the getting beat.

Fantasy Football
Little has changed. Dave G has moved above James due to his traditional blue card. Man of the match for Al starts him moving up the table. Noticeable that yet again man of the match goes to the keeper. Not a good sign.

Played well, got drawn with

I'm getting a little lazy at doing this blog. So much so that I'm not even sure that first sentence makes sense. Any better versions welcome.

Two NVA veterans topping the table going into the winter break. Both defenders and with 4 of the five man of the match awards between them. You lot are getting heavy to carry around at our age. Think we need some goals, people.
James making his way back up the league by kicking the ball into the goal instead of kicking the players and getting sent off. Good lad.
